    Red tinted glasses or not?

    3. CB = VVD, there can be no argument from any pundit (I say pundit as they would be laughed off tv, fans on a forum can say any old ****e) And yes Vidic got laughed off tv for this stupid statement.

    2. LB: hmmmm Holebas, Mendy (terrible this year, injuries), Robertson, Alonso (should be), Davies, Chilwell... So pick one. In fairness robertson must be up there Shaw would be in if mendy is out. digne would then follow in i guess

    1. RB: TAA, trippier, walker, azpi, periera (leicester), doherty?,Wan-Bissaka?.. again pick one. A pundit couldn't argue that TAA would not be in a top 3

Liverpool defender Georginio Wijnaldum says he is yet to receive a contract extension offer from the Reds. The 28-year-old has more than two years remaining on his current deal. (Liverpool Echo)

    yeah well.....

sort of an irrelevant statement bar he wants a new contract as he knows this is the peak of his career and nobody is coming in for a swoop

top 5 or not then... I don't really care. I just named the 5 and said taa has to be at least top3 as well.

theres quite a few rbs and lbs to pick a 5 out of.

Like I said regarding VVD the other day, who is best is down to opinion and will never be resolved.

As a Liverpool fan, I prefer to look at it as "would I swap him for anyone else?"

ATM, I wouldn't swap Alisson, VVD, Gomez, TAA, Robbo, Bobby, Salah or Mane for anyone else. Fabinho is is getting close to that group too.

That's not me claiming they are all the worlds best in their respective positions and can't be bettered, that's me saying we don't need to improve on them because they are top quality.

my view is simply what would most pundits say and imo they would all say vvd.. vidic was laughed at for being a stupid ****.

there's not much between top players in each position so Robertson and taa would be for me in top 2 or 3 in their positions.

alisson would be imo in top 3 for some pundits but as lfc fan he's tops.

however I just think lfc fans grossly over rate firmino cos while he had a great season last year which was better than year before, this year has been at best inconsistent

I think we need to admit that fabinho while better than what we have he wouldn't be in anyoned top 3 no 6s. he's done well... but lets not make out hes a world beater.

the whole point of klopp is the team is more than the sum of its parts. if salah rwmembers that finally we might actually get back to top form.

my view is we need a wide forwards and we tried the cheap reserve in shaqiri. he proves the point for me. but someone to put mane or salah out of team then let them compete.

    we 100% need that

In his position, there is nobody better than him off the ball, nobody!

He's not been great on the ball recently but I don't care, he's in the team for pressing and hard work which helps gain possession high up the pitch and, in turn, helps Salah and Mane be do damn good.

He adds the odd goal and assist too but I never effect him to get a hat-trick.

I wouldn't swap for anyone. I would have swapped him for Suarez of five years ago though.

I actually think we've adjusted our tactics slightly. Last year, Salah was the go to and in form man. ATM, that guy is Mane. Have we switched or direction to counter the attention Mo gets?

He's certainly not getting into a world XI atm but he's a very good player and I was talking about our squad. IMO, we don't need to look at a upgrade for him and therefore, I wouldn't swap him.

I'd take the current Suarez over him. Saurez is in a different class.
