He was never getting that ball in a million years. No pen for me. Hoped they’d go through though so wouldn’t have complained.
it doesn't matter if he's getting the ball or not, Cheillini fouled him, he stepped across him with no intention of playing the ball, which is what Juve got theirs for.

When was this?

Manager Jurgen Klopp said it is "mad" to suggest a Champions League exit could help Liverpool's bid for a first domestic title in 29 years.

"I don't think any other coach has to answer this question," said Klopp.

"It only happens if you're Liverpool manager and the pundits come from Manchester United."

Klopp guided Liverpool to the Champions League final last season but former United defender Gary Neville suggested losing in Germany could do them a "favour" in their attempts to win a first title in the Premier League era.

"They [pundits] talk constantly," added Klopp. "It doesn't mean they make more sense because of that. That's the problem.

"It is so easy to sit in an office or a studio and talk about things like that.

"We don't draw up a season and say the best way to go through it is to go out of all the cup competitions early.

"You do that and in that moment the same people go for you like mad.

Meltdown in his presser for the Bayern game. Massive fanny.

I remember when he cried cos pundits were being nasty to Karius just as he was breaking into the Liverpool team, saying the lad needed a break. De Gea was getting whipped from all angles and it turned him into one of the best GK’s in the world.

Apparently Besiktas have said 'there's something wrong' with Karius.

Did they not watch that CL final ? <laugh>

If that's all Neville has said, I don't see why Klopp's getting worked up over it. It's something we all say from time to time including Liverpool fans. Klopp is feeling the pressure, but having seen Mourhino's meltdowns it's nothing new. Managers get paid millions, they really need to get a grip sometimes.

They haven't paid him for 4 months and have now started this nonsense because he's complained. He's a **** keeper but this is just the typical Turks running clubs like back street brothels.

Tel's version of a meltdown is anything outside of complete zen. He'll call rattled on this post now. <whistle>

How did that turn out for him on the weekend?

If Klopp can't see that being free of any midweek cup games, with no european travel, during the the premier league run in as being a huge bonus in trying to win the league, it's him with the problem.

Neville is just stating the obvious, what we all know, and and is a journalist, so he will.
