Depends which part of Chorlton lol. Tbf the whole area is being improved, not a bad thing.

Some decent bars there, if they can keep the hipsters away it’ll be a decent area for a night out. The Laundrette does some good grub and loads of cocktails for the ****s.

My youngest lived in Chorlton before she did the Mexico / Guatemala gig. She's now back from 3 months in Oz and is living in Levenshulme <yikes>

That's going to be difficult mate, seems every area there has to have a "village" high street so the hipsters come with the territory!

They’re still trying to gentrify Camberwell and Peckham while the rest of the residents are busy stabbing and shooting each other!

Yeah Levenshulme isn’t great, looks a lot worse than it is mind.

Folk (mainly hipsters) are being priced out of Didsbury so going to Chorlton/Northenden now so the areas are being regenerated and there’s a lot of money going in.

Yeah they spoil everything with their ‘Edgy cafe’s’ and their stupid craft ale bars.

I don’t think there’s a single person in Didsbury who owns a pair of trousers that are not at least 6 inches too short for their legs.

My youngest definitely can't be described as a hipster <laugh>

Didsbury's special, has 2 villages!

I work in Hulme, even that's trying to get trendy! But every now and again you come across something that brings the place back down to earth, like going into a Post Office and walking out with a Meatball Marinara.
