JWP has been the highest-scoring English midfielder this year, and has recently outscored every English player regardless of their position.
I suspect the reason Southgate is ignoring him is because he doesn’t want to play him as an attacking midfielder, which James has now proven to be his best position.
As I said in the Tottenham match thread, Southgate can **** off.
