Me mam had roast pork sunday lunch, I had the special which was braised pheasant breast and crispy pheasant leg. Never had better pheasant. Couple of pints of Theakstons to wash it down. Roast spuds were especially good.

You sound like you may be a pheasant plucker.
I posted this recipe for Chazz on the National Pie Week thread the other day.

It’s nice to sit outside if the weather is decent. Plus you can always do a pre or post eat walk along the Humber.

Yesterday it was freezing cold, blowing a gale then alternately raining, hailing or bright sunshine, all inside 90 mins!

Robins steakhouse princess avenue was really good .1884 steakhouse on Humber Street a big let down and as for the Cucina 1884 Italian in Hessle a complete waste of money

Went to the Italian in Hessle recently, thought it was good.
    Obviously a matter of opinion.

A bit too late but my favourite restaurant is Kolize in Hedon they do an excellent fillet Rossini so much so I always have it the lady doesn't have to ask me, you can't book a table you just turn up and wait for a table.
