This is Upton Park as I remember it. Lovely compact little ground. I used to go as an Arsenal fan there on away days, and I'd also go with mates and watch West Ham in the home end too.
I was on Match of the Day long ago at a West Ham game when somebody shot over the bar, in the replay you can see me in slow motion giving him the ****er sign

One of my favoutite grounds. Not as good as Nptts Forest, but still good

Looks like a good crowd. @CFC: Champions of FFP x2 will have the stats to hand I'm sure.

Any of 70k plus in WHL?
Thought not, as it didn't happen

The Chavs were a yo-yo team in the 80's. I don't know the figures, but they used to get **** attendances sub 20k regularly.

I think everyone's took a dip in 80's didn't they? But yeah theirs were really poor considering they try and say they were always a big club![]()
The City ground is a lovely stadium. Right on the banks of the Trent. Forest were a ****ing good team back in the 80's too.
Away end at Forest

The reason why there was a big crowd, cos we'd won the FA cup in 37Weren't the cameras there for the mighty Sunderland in 1938?

Who else remembers the Invalid carriages aka plastic coffins parked up at the bridge![]()

Forest was the first game i took my nephew to. Bit of a treck in midweek.
But he's diehard now, never misses a game. I'm glad he enjoyed it that much.
Wrong.WHL had a capacity of around 58k in the 60's, which was then reduced in the 70's when they started adding more and more seats.
