I've made no secret that I think you abuse the power of being a mod and I wouldn't hide the fact that I don't like the way you come across at times.

That said I think people should be adult enough to be able to continue posting on a forum and I'll go out my way to have a go at you.

If you want to step down as mod then that's your prerogative but no point leaving the board too.

Gordon you banned someone one without consulting anyone and without being asked to by anyone. Completely on your own. I tried in private and you ignored my messages until I posted this thread. Then. Responded to me I wanted to try to do this in private but you ignored everything I said until this. You told me smug asked for the ban (he didn’t) but then told me that wasn’t what you meant.

This message looks like you’re turning things around on me. I questioned the ban. That’s all I did and you told me it was requested. It wasn’t. If you’d asked me I’d have said the same. As brb says it should’ve been done the right way.

I sent you 4 messages in response and you didn’t reply until this thread appeared. You managed to post 3 or 4 messages on threads but seemingly ignored my messages I kept it private until this but you ignored me.

FWIW I have had my issues with you particularly in the changing of thread titles but nothing else. I can’t abide people who justify their actions with lies which is what you did when you pm’d me. You were the only person who wanted him banned so you banned him. If you’d just said that instead of telling me others asked for it then this wouldn’t have happened. My initial message on the thread was in a sarcastic way and nothing more. You took it personally and made all this happen

No need to bail out my fine fellow. Resign as a mod (I have no idea what has gone on)if you want but the board will be poorer without you.

Hope you can reconcile, you're two good lads despite our differing opinions from time to time.

Modding's not a barrel of laughs as you only get involved in it when there's aggro. Also, you can't please everyone so there's always someone slagging you off, which isn't particularly pleasant. The worst of it is that most of it wouldn't be necessary if some on here behaved like grown-ups! I tend to agree with brb; both stay and work it out.
