****ing hell Ellers, you wouldn’t last 5 mins on a night out with my lot.
If ‘tosser’ insults you, wait till you’ve been called a ****, a **** and a ****er 15 times......you’d blow a fuse mate :)
Staines I don't mind when I am out but when on here discussing is another thing. We know Stroller gets funny at times but calling someone a tosser as a reply is not on that's all I am saying. I got a warning once for saying to someone "stop being a muppet". <yikes> Maybe I will just be as insulting as others. :emoticon-0100-smile

As a matter of interest, when is International Men’s Day, please?
International Men's Day is an annual international event celebrated every year on 19 November. Inaugurated in 1992 on February 7th by Thomas Oaster, the project of International Men's Day was conceived one year earlier on 8 February 1991.

You seem to forget that May's/EU deal had to be voted on in the House. The EU knew that. Even I knew that! Yet they waited for it to get rejected and then said they wouldn't reopening the agreement? That tells us everything we need to know about them yet you and the rest of the remoaners would rather watch our country be put in a difficult position then say actually 'the EU are wrong on this' (which they are).
May's deal won't get through and either she starts listening and respects the will of the people or she should throw in the towel, call a GE and we get rid of these weak useless MP's and get some strong MP's in who believe in Brexit.

The EU has conducted themselves on a united front Dino any neutral in the world can see that

The old blame game is all you have it seems
Where are you taking this country ?

Unbefuckinglievable!. I just turned on QT for the last few minutes (hoping to have avoided the foaming-mouthed gammons spouting their 'Leave means Leave' bollocks) and there was a question about Amber Rudd's 'coloured' quote. Owen Jones was given a go, and then some Tory journo was allowed to get away with ignoring the question and saying, 'Owen seems to want to change the subject' before going on to actually change the subject by having the obligatory go about Labour anti-Semitism. For ****'s sake!

When did ‘coloured’ become a bad thing......It was always a polite term in my day and no way was it racist...
No one said you ‘coloured bastard’ back in the bad old days, it was always you ‘black bastard’.....

Genuinely confused and what now is acceptable and what isn’t.

Another one I don’t get is why is it called‘Antisemitism’ When concerning the hatred of Jews but ‘Islamaphobia’’ when talking about the hatred of Muslims.....another one that genuinely confused me.

Yeah, I'm not personally too fussed about Rudd's use of the term, but then I'm not 'coloured'. It can be hard to keep up I suppose, but I think we have to take the word of those affected. It's generally known nowadays that 'coloured' is deemed to be a somewhat offensive term by those being so described (I'm not sure it's as bad as 'muppet', by the way) and Rudd should have known better. She was Minister for Equalities after all.

Antisemitism is a much older term, going back hundreds of years and is directed mainly at the people (semites were regarded as jews historically) so Antisemitism is fear/hatred against jewish ethnic group. Islamophobia seems to encompass a fear/hatred of both the faith as well as the people, i.e. islam and muslims. Now usually, I believe any and every faith should be open to criticism, including islam, but when that criticism is twisted to demonise a whole ethnic group, that is when it crosses the line.

I'll try and clear this up. Calling someone 'Coloured' is unacceptable. Calling someone 'Person of Colour' is acceptable. Therefore you can't enquire at the the Post Office ... How much is a 'Coloured TV Licence?' You must ask how much is 'My TV of Colour Licence?'

Islamofobia is the stick that Muslims use to shut any criticism of Islam .. We do and can criticize Christianity without any accusation of Christophobia ...what’s the difference and why one religion has special status ?
