VAR would have ruled out half the diving antics of Robert Pires from 2000 onwards aswell..just the way it is

VAR still comes down to referees. There are very few cut and dried decisions, in football as in life. In fact in many cases, the more you consider something, from the greater number of angles, the more confusing it becomes.

Nah you're right stick to underhanded tactics by defenders and moaning about it...gives the game credibility.

I'm all for total control taken away from 1 man...especially when that one man has no comebacks ever and seems incompetent to apply basic logic and common sense

I say scrap offsides for free kicks into the box and any kind of handball in the box is a pen...make it simpler and remove the responsibility away from stupid human rationale.

Non of these ideas are going to affect the fair n square physicality of the game

Offside should just be offside again, if you're in the box then you're interfering with play in my book.
