Being a mother doesn’t stop people being punished for crimes. If she’s committed a serious enough offence she’d be locked up for an appropriate length of time. Quite what she’s even done is still unclear.

She met her husband in Syria. It’s possible she sent an application after she got married but some cunning clerk in the passport application office may have thought it was a bit suspect.

I don’t disagree with your sentiment about stripping terrorists of their human rights. They deserve no sympathy or compassion.

But that isn’t the case at the minute so it’s not practical or realistic to think that the U.K. can somehow expect random countries to take on responsibility for British terrorists while insisting that they also have the right to deport foreign terrorists to their country of origin.

It’s just illogical.
