This is where I have my main problem . Let her back , put her on trial , if guilty she gets locked up and spreads the word ....

She won’t get locked up though because of the child .

Being a mother doesn’t stop people being punished for crimes. If she’s committed a serious enough offence she’d be locked up for an appropriate length of time. Quite what she’s even done is still unclear.

 

I must be fairly extreme in my warped head or something because I’m completely inclined to strip all terrorists of all of their human rights.

Some on this board get angrier at an American politician than they do about terrorists who want to come home and blow kids up at concerts.

She met her husband in Syria. It’s possible she sent an application after she got married but some cunning clerk in the passport application office may have thought it was a bit suspect.

Nah mate, it's the way I feel regarding terrorists. Don't want them here walking the streets. Our safety comes first for me.

 

I don’t disagree with your sentiment about stripping terrorists of their human rights. They deserve no sympathy or compassion.

But that isn’t the case at the minute so it’s not practical or realistic to think that the U.K. can somehow expect random countries to take on responsibility for British terrorists while insisting that they also have the right to deport foreign terrorists to their country of origin.

It’s just illogical.
