That fat article was given two years for trying to abuse kids. James Torbett was given 3 years for actually abusing kids, again.

I've never heard of "shot assists" until I saw that article, I had to Google what it meant so it's not self explanatory and as I explained, OPTA don't use them, no organisation that compiles stats on football that I could find uses them either. Ice Hockey uses "shot assists" as a stat so unless "Tav" plays Ice Hockey then the stat itself is pretty worthless.
I laughed at "Tav", not because he is average at best - which he is - but because it makes me smile when fans use nicknames for players as if they know them, that's all.
So in summary, Tav has had 2 more assists this season than Calum MacGregor, so pardon me whilst I go "wow".

As for Tav being "average at best"
Tavernier(I call him that because I don't know him personally) is the highest rated SPFL player in the UEFA Europa league players rankings. He is the twelfth highest rated defender in the whole tournament . He is the second highest ranked English player.
He is in front of EVERY Celtic player. Yes even the player yoos were claiming was the best in Scotland just a few days a go.
Mind you I don't know if shots assists are part of the criteria.
