Where Farage could repeat his pre- Brexit vote announcement that the UK can stay in the Single Market, like Norway, they are doing all right! You can't trust that slimy ******* as far as you can spit.

I'd say the games were being played by those whom Tusk suggests have a special place in Hell reserved for them.

Highly influential politician, and hardly the first to change his mind on an issue

If you have a suggestion on which politician we can trust 100%, I'd be interested to hear

He’s had about 1% as much influence on this country as Dominic Cummings. The bloke has lost seven attempts just to win a poxy seat in the most white, run-down areas he can find.

Funnily enough I was the stupid **** in Italy WC1990 who decided to throw back a tear gas cannister fired at us by the lovely police over there as a welcome......I didn’t realise they get hot.....very HOT...so hot that I burnt my hand badly and had it wrapped in bandages for a week :)

Ruin the country with No Deal, or upset the extremist wing of the Tory party by compromising - what's the worst legacy?

You're kidding, right? He was a huge influence in the Brexit vote, not least because when UKIP got 4 million voters, it showed the writing on the wall for Tories.

I remember seeing a one to one debate with Clegg - Farage wiped the floor with him

As I said the other day she is in a lose/lose situation. However you say ruin the country with a 'no deal' but you don't know that. You are just following the project fear line, which by the way has been very good getting remainers to say "catastrophic" and "cliff edge". They have all followed that slogan very well.
On the other hand, will she want to be the one who killed the Tory party and left us as a vessel state? She will protect the tories.

I can't see a deal coming, so a managed no-deal is the best option.

Goldie is right here Watford. Farage has been very influential. I think the Times named him as the most infuential politician in recent times.

There we have it, then. The Tory party is more important than the country.

Which city Stainsey? I was a kind of casual observer at all of the England games, because I got my tickets through other routes, didn’t want to be herded in with the mob and spoke enough Italian to ease my way round the edges. The policing of the English fans at Italia 90 was a disgrace though, I’m surprised it didn’t kick off more. If it helps the policing of their own citizens wasn’t much better, I got tear gassed loads of times at AC Milan games.

Normally I would agree with this Goldie but I can see the EU caving in late on and there being a fudge.
She is in a crap position at the moment. She cannot P off the voters by not derlivering Brexit but will the MP's take over and force something else? There will not be a 'losers vote' but I see some half way house where less damage to all is the way. If she betrays Brexit it will not only kill the tories but democracy in this country.
I agree the best way forward now is to walk away with clause 24 and go for a free trade deal. This backstop crap will disappear when the UK starts getting stuff from elsewhere.

No that is wrong...read what I said Stroller.
Remember a huge amount of tory voters voted to leave... It's about what people voted for not just MP's. She just needs the votes (which aren't there). It's just as bad in the labour party.
If she can't get the votes for something we end up with 'no deal'.

No, delivering Brexit (not in name only) is as essential to democracy as it is to Tory unity
