“Don’t try to borrow that for any anti EU crap”
You really are in denial about what’s happening over there, they were clearly burning EU flags, clearly showing posters derogatory to your beloved corrupt EU and have been over a period of weeks including posters demanding FREXIT, Accept it old chap the EU is a crumbling, decaying cesspit of corruption and greed and in this day of the internet and easy access to facts and figures and the freedom of information they have been found out, we are the first of many to leave the club and many will follow as they find out the scale of deception and arrogance of the leaders of this union.

It's a coherent position this week, what will it be next week? Corbyn is awful and what happened to the famous 'Six tests'? Remember that? That was Labours main Brexit stance... what happened to that?

I have said before if May tried to go for either a CU or SM she would kill the Tory party and she won't do that.
A good example is here in Berkshire. I live in a massive Tory safe seat, everyone here votes Tory, however on Thursday we had a council election where the Lib Dems won. <yikes> Myself and many other did not vote. Agree it is a council seat only but it shows that we Tories are not happy. Put that on a national scale and I can see the tories getting wasted, which would probably please you but a Corbyn government would be worse than a no deal.

There will not be a second referendum. Firstly there is no appetite for it anywhere other than a few remainers that want a second chance. Even the evil Blair said on Sophie Ridge today that it could be Corbyn's deal or WTO... He never mentioned a second vote. Farage is discussing this as I type on LBC.

Agree May is running the clock down in the hope that people vote on her deal.... sadly her deal is crap. The backstop is just one crap part of it. people are forgetting the other parts that keep us chained to the EU.

For me, we must leave completely. If that means WTO and a hit to us then we must work together as a country and get through it. The EU has been nothing but 2222's in all of this and I don't want to be part of that corrupt gang anymore. This goes beyond trade now. We just need to leave. More and more polls are showing this.

I can't see what he is saying but he just talks crap. He was wrong on Italy. He was wrong on Macron. He was wrong on the economy. He was wrong on EU. He is a fool. He makes out that he is some sort of City worker? <laugh>
I wouldn't want to listen to him on money advice.

I have not seen this mentioned much on here but Nigel Faarge has had his 'Brexit party" accepted by the
Electoral Commission. he will be putting candidates in all seats. 150K people signed up in less than 24 hours.
If we don't leave on March 29th and we have a GE then his party will win loads of seats and I see many Tory/labour MP's defecting to it. Now that would stir up the political landscape.

The 'six tests' were a nonsense, everybody knew that, but they were based on stuff that the Tories had said they were going to achieve. I think Corbyn's offer last week was very astute, and makes May's position much more difficult.

Once again, politicians playing politics. Both sides are frankly beneath contempt. Guy Fawkes had the right idea...

Without picking sides in the trouble over there, the guy who got his hand blown off deserves all he got for thinking he was clever (and fast) enough to pick up a plastic grenade and throw it back at the police.....a surefire candidate for the Darwin awards!

His hand probably went further than the grenade...

It seems to be a sort of anarchist free-for-all, the type of thing that happens at G20 summits...

Well to be fair it's really only one of the six tests that has been dropped - the one based on the Tories having said that we would retain all the benefits of being in the EU. Everyone knew that this was bollocks, but it's hardly playing politics to want to hold the government to their promises is it?

Cressida Dick, top Met cop, on Desert Island discs. I had no idea that she is gay. Not sure if I’ve just missed something that has been widely publicised, or if it just hasn’t been mentioned much. If the latter, I think it’s brilliant, her sexuality has absolutely nothing to do with how well she can do the job, and as she said on the programme ‘it’s the least interesting thing about me’. Perhaps we are making a tiny bit of progress. One day accidents of birth really will be irrelevant.

Fear not, Ellers. The pair are united at least in their determination to get £39 billion from us and give us back **** all!

The biggest issue here is that an important Private Members Bill can be vetoed by one MP shouting out in Parliament. That practice needs to be stopped, and the views of anyone opposing built in before the bill comes to the House

It's relevant that there are moves to deselect Boles, Soubry and Grieve. Can't happen too soon. They should resign and join the Lib Dems

Good point, Ellers. It'll put the fear of God into grass roots Tories in particular. A good move by Farage. If the Tories don't deliver Brexit, including leaving the CU and SM, then they will hemorrhage votes to Nigel's new party

First I heard of it too. I'm sure the nation will greet it with indifference which is a great thing.

You didn't just say that did you. We are talking the future of our country and Corbyn is playing games?
Why should we trust him this time time? Truth is we can't as he is no leader.
