After early promise (ie they wanted our money), with plenty of inside track type material and seemingly informing content, it seems to be bottoming out to be no more than game coverage, which i can pretty much see on tele anyway, the odd player interview and presser coverage every thursday, which is normally covered by the Hull Daily Mail anyway. So with the opportunity to get footage behind the scenes at theor fingertip, reserve team football filmed anyway, and possibly other breaking news type surprises, does anyone else think that its worth is diminishing?
I logged in yesterday and when I tried to watch a video it took me to a screen where it wanted me to put in my Credit card details again. Maybe my membership has ran out or something, but I haven't had an email stating this is the case. Anyone else had this problem?
I welcome the chance to watch games that I haven't been able to get to, but agree about the lack of extra coverage. Most other clubs are no different.
i think its worth it for the full 90 minutes, i dont get to go to many games a season and even if i do I like to watch it back but i agree, over the summer it was great, what on earth does that dan do now hes not filming all the time?
Does anybody know of any way we can watch City's away games live? Does this City Player show them? Sorry but I dont know much about City Player, is this found on the Official Clubs site? Thanks in advance.
There's a demo on here http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/player/Home You only get live audio, the video doesn't go on there until a few days after the game.
Also, do any of you think its worth it? Whats it cost per year? Surely you can get commentary for free on radio and most interviews can be read on the official site or elsewhere?
If you pay for the year in full, it works out at £3 per month, it's over a quid more if you pay monthly. If you live outside the Radio Humberside area, you can't get match commentaries without an illegal feed, so it's good for ex-pats. It's good to be able to watch games you can't get too, even if it is a few days later. You also get to see some behind the scenes stuff, though as Mussie has mentioned, not a fat lot recently. Personally, I think it's worth £3 a month, even if it's just for the commentaries while I'm away and the highlights packages.
apart from early promise, I d say a complete waste of money. thankfully i arent going to cry over £50 for a season
