Laughably blatant dive by Brentford to get a draw against Barnet last night. Who said crime doesn't pay? there should be retrospective action in cases like this. It wouldn't help Barnet, but it might deter others.

Transatlantic Sessions at the Barbican last night was superb. Celtic and Blue Grass music is not everyone's cup of tea maybe, but "Keith up a Tree" was funny- a song to commemorate Keith Richards falling out of a tree while on holiday in Fiji.

Very bad news for British racing today, with the news that equine influenza has caused racing to come to halt for at least a week.

This disease is highly contagious and dangerous for horses, and wiped out the Australian industry ten years ago.

My wallet is slightly happier with today’s news.
