Ex Scotch First Minister and SNP MP, Alex Salmond arrested …. just saying

Blimey, is this the start of a crackdown on separatists?
Only this morning I read that Mogg wants the Queen to suspend Parliament. It's all getting a bit silly now...

He is innocent until proven guilty though.

I know politicians and celebrities like him use public opinion to their own advantage, but in my view the man deserves not to be condemned by public opinion for these offences until he is convicted of them.

Pretty much how I see it Lardi. I dislike Salmond and his popularist politics, but in this case, he's innocent. If he gets found guilty at a trial, he deservedly goes to jail, but that's not where we are now. Accusations are not facts.

Ally McCoist was asked on Talksport this morning which Club did the best pies …… no it wasn't Charlton he said …. it was Kilmarnock, apparently they play in Scotland and their pies are very good... I assume they are the famous Scotch Pie?

I have had one in Edinburgh … they are very nice!
It's been the case for years. 50 years ago a survey showed that Killie fans ate more pies than any other Scottish fans. I remember the headline Killie The Pie Champs. And it's still the case. I'm going up to see them play Hearts next weekend and will sample one. I used to eat two at H/T on a cold day.

Ally said you get pies and ??? at H/T couldn't make the second bit out as I only speak basic Scotch … I assume you have a Brew with your pie?

That whingeing Scouse b astard John Coleman is at it again :headbang:

Embarrassing comments on MOTD about "referees on £200,000 a year" ruining his weekend.

Accrington got another red card yesterday...

@DickPlumb

I am currently writing a book, and require your advice. My book is entitled How To Quickly Become A Charlton Fan And Try To Get Noticed.

I think it could sell well in certain quarters.

I need your help because I am stuck on letter "B"

B is for Best Charlton Friends.

Have you got any advice on the identities of fellow fans or junior club employees that you could make a "B line" for, and quickly become bestest friends with?

This is a novel tactic, but apparently necessary as a very new member of our fanbase.
