After crashing out the past two years, with accidents which were 100% his fault will Lewis be able to hold it together this year at Monza??
Well can only get better after the last 2 years, he bagged pole in 09 and scored a 1-2 with Alonso in 07, why not.
I say he will likely get on the podium, but I don't think he would get the win in front of Button this year.
He was in a similar mental state last year and he crashed on the first lap, anyway thats history and as far as I know nobody can see into the future, so who the hell knows? Maybe Bruno will get pole.
I just found this quote by Lewis Hamilton, "I will continue to drive the way I do," said Hamilton ahead of the Italian GP. "I will just try my hardest to stay out of trouble. I will give people extra room when I overtake them!" A bit of a contradiction in terms don't you think, how can he continue to drive the same way and be more circumspect when overtaking?
Bruno on pole? Now, that I would like to see! As for Lewis, I think he'll be alright this year. He does tend to back from his bad races and I think the pressure's off him now; I just hope he thinks the same.
He can maintain his racing style yet be more aware when challenging. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with his racing style, he just needs to be a bit more aware and more calculated with his overtaking recently. Regardless of some big errors in judgement and some racing incidents, he's a fantastically brave overtaker. He doesn't need to change much to be on top of his game again. Add some patience and remove some desperation and he'll be better for it. I don't see any contradiction in that statement.
It gives the mind a treat trying to guess who he's going to hit or block this weekend. Another caution for his collection.
Soon he'll have to start and work his way through everyone again! There's ONLY 23 drivers out there Lewis, it wont take you long too get through them all!
mind you i dont think he'd try anything on Alonso - he'd beat the **** out of lewis if lewis took him out!!!
Well if he gets pole he will have nobody to crash into, the Vettel tactic. For you serious people I kid, I kid.
I would expect Hamilton to finish this time. I'm no fan of statistics but he's surely got a run of 'non-crash races' coming?
