So Gomez is now officially long term injured. TAA still out and Clyne gone. Not sure if Lovren is back and Matip is limited, not to mention fragile.

I know the right players probably weren't available but can't help but curse our luck in defence and the timing of Clynes exit.

Can't say Karius ever impressed me. I don't remember anything better than basic competence from him.

In all seriousness, he had a run of games where he didn't do much wrong. That seemed to convince people that he was ok, but he didn't instil any confidence in me, and I don't think he did in his defenders either.
I don't remember any game-saving exploits that you wouldn't expect from any keeper at this level.

I believe it was roughly £4m for Dudek and £7m for Kirkland. The latter was only a teenager I believe, the former was later twenties. First choice and backup scenario imo

I recall he broke a finger first then it spiralled into all sorts of back issues, repeated finger issues, depression etc.

His is a sad tale TBH.

His dad had a bet on him playing for England. He got called up to the squad and was scheduled to start but got injured. Never got called up again [HASHTAG]#gutted[/HASHTAG]

sounds like he's off as doesn't look likely get a work permit. bet most of you have forgotten about him haven't you <laugh>

seen him a couple of times and looked promising, **** knows whats happened since.

we need to stop spending money on all these up and ruddy coming players and buy for now!
