The World will be fine. Remember we are just a "Small Island". Insignificant to a block of 26. I am sure they will cope without this "small Island".

It may well be OTT, but I just don't know for sure. I do know that I would prefer to take heed of the opinions expressed by the vast majority of economists, who agree that it will a disaster of some degree, than I would Ellers or some random bloke he heard on the wireless.

To be fair Stroller, the economists ain’t been too good on their predictions for a while now so I wouldn’t be looking at them for many predictions ;)

May be those US politicians should speak to all sides in Ireland, which includes the DUP. They'll soon realise that they are taking an over simplistic attitude

I think it comes down to whether they have an agenda or an angle on something. Most know their stuff but can be blinded by political views. A good example is Carney at the BOE. The bloke knows his s22t but his political views and pressure from above clouded his judgement. It's the same with many of them on both sides.

Hang on a minute. Are they not going to be our new trading partners after we've left the EU? I think bit more grovelling and arse licking is called for when politicians in the Euro-free world tell us what to do and not to do.

Ah tits just found out my local HMV is amongst the closures. It's a big loss to many a high street. At least some are staying open.

Where would be your local HMV from Frome? Bath?

The one in Leamington closed a couple of years ago, Superdry (‘wear our clothes and advertise us for no cost to us! We’re not really Japanese you know!’) moved into their shop and a hideous steak restaurant called Cau moved into Superdry’s old place, at great expense converting it I’d guess. Now it’s been deserted for a few months as Cau is in administration. Slightly spookily the tables are still laid for diners.

Aye Bath, to be fair only local-ish but aside from the odd night out these days it was my main reason for visiting Bath. Cau sounds like a decent setting for a horror film. I'm sure something equally as horrific as Superdry will end up where the HMV in Bath is now, come to think of it they may already have Superdry.

I thought it was only up in the North East of England (and Scotland of course) that folk said Aye instead of Yes. Are you native to Somerset or like me uprooted yourself for a better life?
