But no one asked the council. I know it is generally accepted that the council want the area developed but surely sounding out the council would be done before spending millions on Hull City.

Technically probably true.

But club profit > Allamhouse profit. And it’s no secret their dividend payments from Allamhouse LTD have skyrocketed since taking ownership of the club.
