1.5 million isn't that bad for a league 1 club in terms of budget (relatively). Besides, is he worth more than 1 million? Flip the coin, and you could say they Tried to hold us to ransom thinking we're desperate and we held out. Who knows?
I think it’s about right and a good deal for both parties mate, my concern is why it took so long to get to such a manageable figure. You could be right maybe Wigan where trying to bluff us.
