Another worryingly piss poor transfer window from us, never learn do we.
Alex crook seems to think we are still working on something else inward. He said it wasn't the Olympiakas RB, Omar.
Peter Odemwingie noted in his usual seat in Portswood Subway, looks like he hasn't given up.
I'm going to respectfully disagree with this. In the past we have panicked and bought players no better than we had, resulting in a bloated squad full of players who were just available at a time of crisis. No doubt RH had his list, sounds like Che Adams and a few others were on it, but it wasn't to be. I personally think we absolutely have learnt from past errors and we haven't this time gone for an also ran just to appear to do something. That's what got us into this mess.
We are on a decent run and have enough to stay up. RH obviously trusts this squad to keep us up (I do too) and then we can try again for those at the top of our list in the summer, when we have a far better chance of signing them.
...I would have liked some competition at right back, mind!

Not really, got rid of a lot of dead wood this month. Players either that aren't good enough or don't really want to be here. I would rather Saints wait until the summer so they can buy option A, instead of buying option C now
This for me, think we have done pretty well to trim the squad down a bit, but would've liked a loanee RWB as I don't think Valery is ready yet in an attacking sense to play the role effectively.
Ralph knows quite well that our team isn't the finished article and he also knows the money isn't bottomless, so, as long as he reckons the team is good enough, it is better to wait and get the right players in the summer.
Maybe he'll have a shot at getting to Wembley after all...good luck to the lad, they have a decent reputation with young players there.
Ask Sam Gallagher and Ryan Seager that question.
