Didn't people say this about Hughes?

Hassenhuttl could well be the next Carvahal, remember when people said Swansea were safe last year

No, I don’t remember Swansea ever being safe.

You’re clutching at straws here in your desperation to remain relentlessly pessimistic. Could see us losing to Palace next week though, that should cheer you up <ok>

Didn’t Sturrock have that approach too....[HASHTAG]#sturrockhuttl[/HASHTAG]

Yes he did. And unfortunately for him, he lost the dressing room.

Ralph clearly hasn’t lost the dressing room - quite the opposite I imagine. He might have pissed off a few malcontents, but it’s pretty obvious the majority of the players believe in him.

Well we are remembering different things then. I can remember, around the time Hughes was brought in, Swansea were sat in about 13th having beaten a couple of the bigger teams (Arsenal were definitely one, not sure on the other) since Carvahal had come in. They also battered West Ham iirc. They were only 3 or 4 points from the relegation zone but people were saying they would go from strength to strength and I'm sure a lot of their fans weren't thinking about relegation at that point, but we all know what happened.

I don't think we will go down, but just by looking back one season i think you can draw some comparisons to Swansea

Poor unfashionable Paul. His start wasn't that bad either, but the dressing room soon pressed the button. Wasn't Beattie the main culprit?

Just don't compare Gabbi to Jelavic whatever you to do.

Just done bit of research on last season. Swansea were in the **** this same game week last year:

Then a few weeks later, they were above the line:

To be fair with 4 games to go the ball was firmly in their court:

Game in hand too..though that was the City game that they lost heavlily and that is what ultimately sent them down. It was on the day of out cup semi too.

My option would be the one that had Hazard in his back pocket earlier this month

This is my though too, everyone complaining we need Cedric against these big players... But only Murphy has really given Valery a skinning.
Valery has performed better than Cedric, and would never get dropped anywho.
