France are worried about their own electorate. There's talk over there that a majority would vote for a Frexit. Macron's world may further implode.
He said months ago that if a referendum was held in France they would leave. God Corbyn was so weak at PMQ's. The bloke is hopeless. Who would vote for hm?
mmm clever by the Tories. MP's getting up saying their constituencies voted leave and will feel betrayed by a 'losers vote' or an 'extension'. Making sure Bercow hears this. Good one from Peter Bone MP telling the PM that the government is full of remainers and can she replace them with leavers.
More confidence in the French and German governance being around change Just because Macron is useless and hated very correct there I have no doubt that both the Germans and the French are way advanced in the rebuilding of governance and imo will only recover and get stronger Your criticism of them shouldn’t imo be your focus maybe reflect on how the U.K. will rebuild with a divided nation. I would also suggest that it’s not in any way useful to continually equate these countries to the rule of a historical mass murderer in wartime which finished in 1945 Remainers believe that it’s better to rebuild Europe from being a member of it . You seem hell bent of believing that as a solo nation we have tools and drive to succeed can I remind you also that this vision of success comes from a nation that is totally divided. Can you at least accept that? You empty criticism towards Europe as well as your continued criticism of the remain voters must look very daft to most especially as to date again you have offered no future plan or solution after Brexit. Do you have some secret belief in how our government will succeed based on their recent track record ? Time to totally accept that we are the joke nation that many of us realised years ago by that I mean how we are governed and how our services perform... understand a bit of that and you may understand the difference between what is seen as hatred for the U.K. and the realism of what we have all grown into. Being proud of your country means actually caring about real things and that starts from understanding the construct of today’s UK . Questions that I believe we all face Yep it don’t affect me I have a out that maybe as an arrogance but it’s based from frustration as I do not believe we are as a nation able to make the changes required . Brexit is proof of where we are Divided and that’s the realism of the U.K.
I should have. Doesn't matter anyway cos we will either stay in or be tied to them with a deal of some sort. That will do me
There is no point goading me Bob as we will be leaving the EU. People need to accept that. Brussels will cave in and we will get out. This has come in the last hour from the Telegraph Brexit latest news: Brussels ready to entirely 'rework' future relationship Commentators today are saying the EU is getting concerned. Members states are starting to worry about their own Countries. They should be because a 'no deal' will break the block. As for your staying in quote? Maybe you should let your mates at the EU know because Barnier has just tweeted: EU'S BARNIER SAYS PREPARING FOR NO DEAL IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER I am beginning to think May will get her deal through with some changes. Who would have thought it?
I think you'll find that this means they are ready to rework the deal after May has had to ditch the current one, most likely to include permanent membership of the Customs Union.
She has already dismissed a CU today in PMQ's when she made Corbyn look stupid yet again. A permanent CU won't happen because it restritcs us making deals. plus there are other problems with it which the government won't accept. The only thing the EU need to rework is getting rid of the backstop, although listening again today to some Irish commentators, it will be very hard.
She can dismiss it all she likes, but she's going to have to compromise somewhere along the line. Her deal is dead.
That's what I thought but she has made assurences to MP's in her party that she will get changes. TBH I am sceptical. However if she can get the ERG and hard liners to support her deal, then it is a different story. You obviously don't understand that if she sells out on Brexit (CU/single market) then the Tories are finished as a party and it 'aint gonna happen'. Too many Tory members will not stand by and let it happen. She is governed by them essentially and has listned to their concerns. Brexit must happen because if it doesn't, constitutionally we will be f22ked. That's why I am confident that it will happen because they won't risk betraying 17.4M voters. It's all talk and chest puffing at the moment.
Don't agree. The EU are beginning to lean on Dublin over the backstop. If there is an end date here, May's deal would probably go through Caroline Flint reporting today that there seems to be a hardening attitude in the public in general in favour of a no deal to resolve this matter
Well that's summed it up nicely. All of this **** is about what's best for the Tory party, not the country. Bunch of ****s.
Parliament won't let a no deal exit happen, so if the likes of you and Flint think that that's what they really want (and bearing in mind that absolutely nobody campaigned for No Deal in the last referendum), there will need to be a new referendum - No Deal v No Brexit. That'll get it sorted.
