The Malcom rumours are gathering pace Of course, The Sun had to be The Sun about it and not only call him Barca Flop Malcom but also suggest Roma will sign him instead...
A great player with a deep love for the club. I read an article that said after games last season, he would limp terribly through the mix area and it was clear that the end of his time at Spurs was in sight. Whilst we are terribly short in central midfield, his decline in physical prowess diminishes him to the point that now is the right time.......still terribly sad though.
At his very best, a unique talent. Heavens ¬ we could do with him at his peak right now. Wish him all the best
I’ve always said I don’t allow sentiment to cloud my judgement or feelings when it comes to players but ****... seeing Mousa actually gone hurts, man. In my 29 years, he’s been my second favourite midfielder I’ve seen live to ever play for the club after Modric. When we sold the latter, I thought we were ****ed yet the club pulled a rabbit out of the hat when Mousa joined. He wasn’t as good as Luka, but **** me he was still an absolute joy to watch. His ability with the ball for such a big guy was unprecedented, the size of a tank yet the grace of a ballerina. Poch said he wished he could’ve signed Dembele when he was 18 because he believes he could’ve turned him into the best CM in world football and I 100% believe that. The talent and ability was there. As gutting as it is to actually see him go, I’m actually buzzing for him knowing that he’s likely going to be earning a fat packet at Guangzhou and will play a standard of football that hopefully won’t cause him any more injuries, it’s nothing less than he deserves.
Bye bye, Dembele. Injury has been cruel to you, but I'd rather Spurs lose you and you're still walking 20 years from now, then go over the edge in this season campaign. And here is my eternal Mousa moment :
Beauty and the Beast all rolled into one...was a pleasure watching Mousa when he was fit and able enough for us.
Loved it mate. The result in that game was disappointing after having been 2 up but every Spurs fan knew Leicester were winning the league after we drew at home to WBA the game before. So to go to the bridge and just **** up Chelsea through frustration was a decent consolation prize. This is still one of my most favourite videos ever: How he only got one yellow card that game I'll never know
Because Clattenburg decided not to do his job, which is why we didn't win comfortably and earned a bad reputation, instead. Chelsea clogged the **** out of our players for an hour and nothing happened, so they retaliated. Costa somehow ending up as the victim says a lot for the media narrative at the time.
I remember Clattenburg actually being quoted as saying something like "he allowed Tottenham to implode". As for Costa, just shows what a guy Mousa was. Costa is never a victim... until he met Mousa.
