Can't imagine Spurs signing Bowen as a replacement for them, or as a first team player.

As a project, one for next season or the one after maybe, but not for straight-in.

Ditto this, Potchettino isn't the type of manager/coach to buy a young player and put him straight into the side. Look at Trippier from Burnley, he was bought in June 2015 but never made a start until January 16 and only made 6 appearances that season.

Whilst Bowen is good, he wouldn't get into Spurs reserves.

Untried at PL, a lower half PL maybe but not as a replacement for a starting XI player

Bowen would be better off continuing his form here, stock should end up higher than going and sitting on a bench or being back in the championship next year following a relegation.

You’re right of course, unfortunately the decision would likely be taken out Jarrod’s hands.

    **** off Ehab!

You may well be right but then again many people said Robertson wouldn't be good enough for Liverpool and Maguire wouldn't be good enough for England.

Just because a bid is accepted by ehab doesn't mean Bowen has to go, he can reject the deal and stay

He could, but as grounded as he sounds it would undoubtedly mess with his head, and he’ll probably be told by his advisors that he’s one serious injury away from possibly never seeing an offer like it again.

I don’t expect many likes for this post, however it is sadly what happens in the real world.

Whilst I never thought Maguire would get into the England side, I always knew Robbo was a class full back and would soon become a crowd favourite at Liverpool.

With Harry, I'm still scratching my head over how well he has done. Even Robbo, I thought the defensive side of his game would be found out. It has improved massively.

I'd have put money on Harry having the bigger impact to be honest, so I think that Robbo's improvement is the more impressive. That said, and not wishing to detract from his progress, I think that he benefits greatly from playing in such a good, settled team.

The pleasing thing about Bowen is that he has not just been a one season wonder, he has replicated and got better from last season. That leads me to feel he has got time on his hands, barring injury, and to be able to take his time before moving to bigger and better things.

Just signed a new deal at Anfield keeping him there until 2024. He's only 24. Got a lot of earning potential. Good luck to the guy, always gave 100%. That said playing in such a good side must help. I think I'd do okay, playing with Salah, Mane etc..!!

Ali just gone off with a hamstring pull, in the sky match against Fulham, so that's Kane, Ali and Son out for a while sky commentators reckon that will now force Spurs into the transfer market in the next week or so, got a feeling they will test our resolve at keeping Bowen.

Force Spurs into acquiring a direct first team replacement over a speculative punt on one for the future, so not Bowen?

Agreed, they need to go shopping, but a punt like Bowen is unlikely.
