We've all seen what Niall has had to say about stay away fans watching games in pubs but is anyone else worried that it may get to the point when he says enough is enough! I've fulfilled my side of the bargain, brought in solid financial backing in the shape of Ellis Short, brought in Brucey Who in turn has built a young exciting team but we still cant get regular sell outs! I know he's aware of the current economic situation a lot of people are in but is anyone else worried he may just hold his hands up, say "sorry, Ive tried" and call it a day, along with Ellis Short?

No mate, they're here for the long haul, the economy will turn, and with euro qualification in the next 2 or 3 seasons, the plastics will fill the empty seats.

In my opinion.
 
Hope you're right Brucey! I didn't mean to sound negative. It's just this little voice of doubt I've got in my ear and was wondering if anyone else felt the same. We find ourselves on the cusp of something really special and I'd hate to think something like this might jeopardise it!
 
As I don't go to the ground at this time, I have tried to not comment on the subject.

I still think our gates are pretty good over all, but of course could be better.

With success the crowds will increase, we have come a long way in a couple of years.

Lets welcome any glory hunters and hope they stay for the long haul.
 
I don't think he'll walk away, I think he'll be here for quite a while!

Also, I do think attendances will rise but to ask for 'sell-out' every week at the moment is like asking for a miracle. Basically, people can't afford to go and to be honest going to a premiership football match is a bit of a luxury.

Last season I couldn't not afford to go due to unemployment and no money, this season I have a job and could just about scrape together the money for a season ticket but I have to work weekends so I still can't go, I know a lot of people in similar or worse situations. Lifelong supporters that simple can't go.
However, I believe they will rise over the next 2/3 seasons and I hope I will be one of them.

man city can't even fill their ground but don't hear the arabs moaning, does anyone else? h'way quinny man we averaging near 40000 in a city that has mass unemployment, a day on the piss is what some people can only afford, they might as well watch the match at the same time. banning the foreign channels wouldn't increase our crowds imo
 
so so so so negative man, liven up . we are 6th in the league. its the best we've ever witnessed in terms of team quality. get a grip shake yourself and realise this is on
