Hiag, mate. You need to drive that number. You can’t pussy foot around with a song like Paranoid - It’s the original hard rock song, and Iommi’s guitar drives it with that riff. You need to do the same, there should be a hard, menacing sound to it.

But if that’s the best the vocalist can do, maybe you should drop it from the set?

You cannot judge anything from that recording. Plus, that's an early recording, when Dad hadn't been in the band very long. He performs that song far better, now.

We've dropped a lot of material that wasn't working, such as the Ultravox song which I never liked.

We're known predominantly for our Floyd material, which is an area into which we will be staying far more deeply, over the course of this year.

Most gigs are local, so petrol is a small cost. The setting up and breaking down is all part of the fun with the boys.

Playing live in front of an audience is always a rush for me.

If it ever stops being fun, I'll go back to being a bedroom guitarist, like the hundreds of thousands out there.

Not sure why you took that as criticism and felt the need to be defensive. I merely said that it wouldn't be for me....oh and btw I've probably got more musical talent in my cock than you've got in the whole of your body <whistle>

I don't see it as a hobby but a passion the route to the soul. Where words fail music speaks....but in your case forget that last phrase <laugh>
