We’ve got a gig coming up next weekend. My band haven’t played for about a year due to various other commitments, but we’re amped for this one. Got a new drummer too who we’ve played with before so we know he’s tight.

It’s at a great venue too. Not huge about 80-100 capacity, but a proper theatre space. We’re playing first and then there’s a DJ set after until the wee hours. Should be fun, can’t wait for it tbh.

I always silence these ****ers when they hear me play, Bruv.

Skiddy, Commie, Stan and brb are like eunuchs trying to tell the hareem stud how to screw.
You’re a two a penny pub guitarist son. Listen to all your **** on YouTube and it’s rank, despite your mates desperate attempt of saving the day.

HiaG, I never really understand how doing a gig is worthwhile, other than for fun of course, the return for what you put in is quite poor.

Just simple maths of splitting £300 four ways is £75 each, but take out the cost of travel, the gear including marketing, setting up and actually gigging, then clearing up after, lot of hours for very little return. That's excluding practice time but you would do that as a musician anyway, and some of the equipment cost is absorbed into that interest as well.
