If it's somebody with lots of Championship experience, then I'm going with: Cyrus Christie at Fulham Wes Morgan at Leicester Ben Gibson or Stephen Ward at Burnley Joel Ward at Palace (nearly put Scott Dann but having been out for a year with an ACL rupture, I didn't want to tempt fate) Sebastian Prodl at Watford. There's a mixture of full backs and centre halves there, but they all fit the bill of being experienced defenders with Championship appearances under their belts.
It's a centre back and it's not going to be a current Premier League first team player, which definitely rules out those first two.
Okay, but hasn't Gibson only just got back into the first team? He's only made one appearance this season?
It's only the first two are complete non-starters, there's probably over a dozen players who it could be.
Since when did Hull City stop buying injured/unfit players? Remember these.. Diomonde. 12 weeks before he made his debut. Jimmy Bullard, declared fit by the club, unfit by 12,000 Fulham fans. Ramirez. He played after a couple of weeks but carried an injury. Ben and Arthur. Nuff said. That's five from memory. Plenty to add to the list.
I wonder if Mr Silva at Everton has any spare experienced centre backs with plenty of experience but not getting a game in the 1st team?
bags of experience not getting a game for the Blues. Has been on the bench recently, but played only 2 games this year.
