Good, as long as that **** Tigeroo’s not in it.

I had problems with TigerRoo on a previous forum when he was called Cowboy. He joined here after me and immediately placed me on 'ignore'.

My first husband was a Sunderland supporter and my current one has followed their fortunes since he was a young lad. Having recently returned to Netflix we will watch the series with interest.

Gate was 15,010 v SAFC that season

Reckon they brought about 5,000

Stokoe still in charge I think. They had a great team as this MOTD clip v MUFC shows.

You must log in or register to see media
Stu Pearson, Sammy McIlroy, Willie Morgan, Wee Lou Mac. Exciting team too.
Stepney too.

I went to roker park when there were only 2 coaches a bit later in 73? Next season we drew them in the cup and over 10 coaches were arranged but it got called off. Think again one or two went for the rearranged fixture.
Must have been the magic of the cup. Plus there was a lot of safety in numbers amongst City fans for a long time.

I think there was a train for that one that was cancelled due to snow. I seem to remember a story of how in Hull they had beaten up (out numbered) some local hard cases who had little or nothing to do with City. Word spread and for the cup game every man and his dog were going to go up there.

I noticed in the Netflix bit when they played Brentford away, they kept using footage of Grayson on the touchline at the KCOM and pretending it was still Brentford. Even ignoring the massive orange KCOM advertising, the grounds look entirely different so it was very obvious.

There were a few editing gaffs in the series. They were using training session clips for March/April with Seb Larsson still training with them considering he was with us that season.

Ah yes. The 75/76 season.,

A big win in the 3rd round replay at PAFC in front of a gate of 20k, after a game here in front of 6k.

About 4k booked to go to Roker Crescent on the FAC4 Saturday, but it was . snowed off and only a few dozen only made it the midweek replay.

Away support up and down like proverbial whore's drawers that season, as we took 6K to Bell Vous for the Donny FLC game which we lost. - thankyou Alf Wood.

Only just got round to watching this, excellent series and a great watch, and frankly ****ing hilarious at times with a number of LOL moments. How those ****ers stayed up in 2017 and we went down i'll never know.
