James DeGale v Chris Eubank Jr on 23 Feb 2019 - should be half decent. Don't think DeGale will give Eubank Jr the beating that he deserves but will be fun to watch him try. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/46745027
ITV Box Office? Needs to be a decent bill, then. Hope it will be, as there's **** all going on at the moment.
Kahn vs Crawford on April 20th - kudos to Khan for taking the fight but can't see him lasting over 6 rounds tbh. Rumour is that Wladimir Klitschko is coming back to fight in 2019 - will be against someone British and not Joshua or Fury so will guess Whyte? https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06xrctt
Yeah sounds like they are binning that as they couldn't come to an agreement with Whyte about the fight. Whyte was there when Hearn was chatting and looked pretty annoyed, so guess it's just Joshua taking the easiest option he can again
AJ has no trust in Wilder to beat Fury and keep the Americans interested in Heavyweight boxing so he is going over there to remind those lot that he still exists. Kinda wish that he held back on this fight - the plan was for Miller to face Bryan for the WBA interim belt and the winner to face Joshua as currently the WBA has 3 belts at heavyweight for some stupid reason.
It’s not, Hearn has ****ed it. Joshua has to fight for £6m to take that Whyte fight cos Hearn can’t get enough interest in it. Joshua ain’t gonna fight for 6 when he’s been picking up double that. Whyte was asked to fight for less than his last fight. Hearn has ****ed it with this Zone thing, he can’t make the profits he’s agreed to. He didn’t envisage Fury coming back in and being so successful, it’s wrecked the AJ-Wilder huge payday.
See this is why AJ will never be regarded as a great. Because all his management does is ****ing quibble with people over money, constantly. He needs to bin his management. If he is in the sport just to accumulate a **** ton of cash, then fair play to him, just as long as he knows that he will always be remembered as a no-mark. Plenty of people have held titles AJ, but the people that get remembered, your Tysons, your Lewises, your Mayweathers, your Alis, they had epic encounters with the best, and won (and sometimes lost), they didnt snatch and grab a couple of belts then meander about the division fighting no named jobbers and hoovering up cash. Whether its fear or greediness, if Joshua doesnt man the **** up and and actually fight someone of worth, he will just have to console himself with being a rich nobody.
