No way will Rafa jump ship midseason or any other season to go to Leicester. He will stay here until the end of the season and assess his options then. Leicester will not interest him at all. And quite what Puel is doing wrong there intrigues me. They've got 31 points.

Not as good as hearing that Steve Bruce has found another club...just need Mark Hughes to find a new club now (Cardiff I reckon) and then I’ll feel a bit safer!

Possibly, they're both very good managers with generally positive records though not universally successful hence they aren't managing at the top of the league - though i suspect both of them could do a job if needed for a top club once more. In that particular season everything came together and yes Ranieri was a better manager, not just than Benitez but better than anyone else by a landslide. To take that group of players and win by a large margin whilst the likes of Mourinho, Wenger, Van Gaal, Pochetino were either floundering or "going through a transition" was the single most outstanding football achievement the Premiership has seen.
Why? Benítez won’t leave until the end of the season and that gives Bruce ample time to be sacked by Wednesday and by Wednesday I don’t mean the Club!
