I am looking forward to Alan "Lovren put hands on him so penalty" Shearer to call Salah out on this one.
I for one did not think it a penalty but in fairness to Salah he is usually bullish and tries to stay on his feet. He is probably pissed off getting kicked and stamped on like he did vs Bournemouth but because he stayed on his feet and scored, his fouler gets away with no punishment.

The only times that is a pen to us is when we are playing Utd or spurs

Pretty much perfect for us in terms of outcomes.
Win 4-0 at a canter so able to give game time to "fringe" players in Studge and Clyne .Lovren showed he isn't just a World Class defender but CF as well
Mancs lose ,plus have a red card , and they must be getting a bit twitchy about their recent form.
Only fly in the ointment is Spurs who i still maintain have a much better squad than they are credited with.
Red is a shame as Delph has been responsible for 2 of their goals in their last 2 defeats at LB
I thought getting KDB back had unbalanced them a bit tbh. However as I said other day Fernandinho is a massive loss for City

Trying not to be bias but I wouldn’t say dive. I guess depends what definition of a dive is? Did the action warrant h going down like he did? No.. was there contact? Yes. He pulled on his arm/shoulder and it was hard enough to turn Salahs body. As someone said above, the defender didn’t seem to complain so he knew he’d done something stupid (it was dummet And all I See is you guys saying how **** he is so surely not a surprise?)
Totally agree with we are too negative and we were never going to get a point once the first went in. Main problem is Ashley not investing in the team who won promotion last time. Our players try but are simply in the main playing in the wrong division and aren’t good enough.
I get the impression from “...made a mug of the ref..” confirms you don’t think it was a penalty. Agree it’s a malaise and for me desperately needs attention from the top to stamp it out. Not just saying that bit because of today have been saying that for too long now.
Also referees need to improve because, firstly, they don’t properly protect players and, secondly, too many referees don’t give penalties unless the player goes down. Two wrongs don’t make a right but poor officiating doesn’t help. Can imagine Salah gets kicked a lot and doesn’t get the free kicks and penalties he deserves but that doesn’t excuse his cheating.
For all the above frustration led ranting I do hope you win the PL this year. Firstly, Gerrard isn’t playing, never did like him, and, secondly, you play football the “right way” and thirdly I don’t want Citeh to win it.

3rd paragraph is someone saying for years and refs don’t help themselves.
Players get fouled and stay on their feet refs don’t give anything. So players have to exaggerate their falls and become unnatural as only way to get fouls and refs then give which only reinforces the bahviour.

Well if you watch it the pull turns his body, yes not enough to bring him down but as I said above, refs don’t give pens if you don’t fall over.
Put it this way outside the box on a breakaway that’s a yellow card and a foul. He puts his hand on his arm, pulls him a bit and it turns Salahs body sidewards and allows the defender to get back in front of salah.
I agree reed it’s a soft pen, but if that happens on the half way line on a break, I bet you and everyone else is claiming a foul and yellow card and I doubt anyway makes a fuss over it.

Consistency- it’s always hard not to be bias but don’t see many saying it was a pen which is nice to see on the board
We can debate the fine detail but we seem like a bunch roughly on the same page if not same line
That said if we had been playing Utd it’s a pen for us
