clyne played well v utd. clearly will start.
windy will start a home game.
shaqiri for Keita is a no brainer

these are the no issue calls.

after this it gets real messy

lallana
sturridge

origi

Moreno

just don't know what klopp will do here as this is patently the easier of the next 3 games purely by the fact it's at home and Newcastle main threats are Kennedy and rondon.

alisson
clyne lovren vvd Moreno
lallana Henderson? windy
shaqiri sturridge ???

I said Henderson as he played a game less than fabinho.

I just dont know

I wouldn't change it too much as there is time between the games, just let them rest from training instead.

I'm sure Klopp will switch it up like you say though.

in general I'd agree but we need to rest somewhere.

it's 3 days to arsenal and 4 to city.. with city resting all I'm sure as much as possible to beat us.

if we can rest v Newcastle and win (not easy) and then go at arsenal and city then we can throw the cup like klopp was seems to ****ing do (I hate it) then we will be in a good place

That leaves two games mate...

Played 18
Next 3
Next 15
= 36

City can run catch us if we win the next 18 though. Be 7 clear with 2 to play in assumption they win the rest of theirs as well.

Can’t see whole sale changes but I’d imagine Shaq will come in given it’s a home game where we’ll dominate possession.

Big Al
Clyne Lovren VVD Moreno
Gini Hendo
Origi Firm Shaq
Salah

That looks like way too many changes in one go for me.

I'd agree.

the real issue for me is we don't have reliable front 3 cover.

the back line changing both full backs is prob ok.

windy in for Henderson regular change.

shaqiri coming in or keita I think is injury enforced anyway.

so... them you get to mane, firmino and salah... we've no adequate cover there.

In the past Klopp has gone for the option of keeping one or two of the front three on the bench and being ready to bring them on early (for him) if we're struggling. It wouldn't surprise me if he tries that.

most likely.. which then begs the question... who plays from the start.

the recent game v Burnley will prob provide the answer.

my view is Milner, Robertson, Henderson, Keita are all obvious rests. (clyne, Moreno, windy, shaqiri)

but then we go hmmm.. We have sturridge so does salah sit down and firmino start?

do the subs order Friday suggest mane?

after these we are into lallana and origi.

and at this point it's time to highlight we are talking about our first team from 2 years ago.

mingolet
clyne lovren vvd moreno
lallana Henderson windy
shaqiri sturridge mane

only two in as new guys.

if that side can't beat Newcastle ok....fair enough.

Why would you drop Allison

The amount of excitement I get for winning the FA cup or league cup is similar in level to exiting the cup. After the big two, does anyone really care.

YES

if you could remember winning one I expect you'd remember why winning one is far better than meekly outing out each year.

I'd dearly love a pot this year.
