On the Heckingbottom front I will be honest and say hes nothing but a useless Cnut, touted by the media as the next big thing in football..... why is he still out of work.....
Because he made a poor team worse and many believe if Thomas had been left in charge he would have got us top 10. Hecky was a disaster and thats why he has killed his employment prospects.

On todays game yes a bit worried but I bet Bielsa isnt, so as usual Im going 0-3 Leeds as it will happen at some stage and seems to be a lucky charm

Good afternoon one and all i made it back from work early. The rain must have put people off. Is it raining at villa park? and will it suit our game. Today i am going for a draw we must not lose.

Great fight last night...<ok>

Sounded it - started listening to it on 5 live and following on Phil Hay's tweets - was going to find a stream - but had listened to it and followed the tweets when he beat Selby so didn't want to jinx it by watching it - as obviously if I had watched it that would have effected his weeks of training and preparation....

FFS Bamford got a knock in training and is out according to Adam Pope..:steam:
He is one of those injury prone players who will never reach his true potential, we have to seriously look at Bamford and decide if he has a future with us next season, be it this division or the PL. I really would cut my losses with him come the end of the season, sell him on and look for a replacement, you just have to look at his career history to see he spends more time on the treatment table than the pitch.

I'm not knocking him or his ability, just questioning his metabolism as this isn't a one off season.

Then hes another bad signing by orta.

Sounds like it's just a case of Bielsa up to his usual trick of looking at the fixture and deciding it was too easy so trying to make it a bit more interesting for him

Not a bad line-up with Ayling back we look more balanced and excellent news seeing Harriosn and Alioski starting as it must mean Pablo in the #10 position. With Ayling and Douglas tearing down the wings and having naturally wide players in Harrison and Alioski Villa are going to have a lot to think about. I'm worried about Phillips being used as a CB and I just hope Forshaw or Klich don't leave him exposed.

Only one threat on the bench in Clarke and no other sub striker, I'm seeing on Wiki Gotts is a RB so a very strange inclusion?

see there we are not even a sub striker as roberts is out is he injured too ?.makes my bloody blood boil at the cheap way bielsa has had to work this season.he deserves a better squad than this and i believe he would have us top and flying away with it.

Harrison has been flying for the U23s but for me this is last chance saloon for him in our first team. We need loan players to stand up and show what they’re made of.

Bamford and Brown after serious knee injuries is now a big gamble for 20 matches. I think we now need a striker as Roberts is also missing and a replacement for Saiz/Brown
