In his report, Phil Hay used 2 important words. "It's complicated". And I think it prolly is.

I think there's far more going on than we can possibly imagine. I suspect there is a mental health issue being dealt with as sympathetically as possible by all concerned, and I further suspect that Getafe are involved because it's a long-running condition that they were able to nurse him through in the past (and possibly failed to mention it to us when selling him - who knows?).

I believe it's a loan with a buy option because they're skint at the present time, and knowing the situation, if I'm right, they'd be crazy (pardon the pun) to buy him until his future health prospects are much clearer.

We might never know. But if it's in any way true, our dear old fans won't have been helping his situation by giving him pelters on a regular basis on social media (without realising what was going on in the background, of course). Indeed, this may even have contributed to his move. Again, who knows. Like someone said earlier, we won't have a clue until a biography comes out.

Saiz wife was expecting twins but lost one, then she had a cancer scare and now preagnant again and the boy wants to be with his wife who is struggling. Sorry guys but for me he needs to go as he isnt going to do anything but upset the dressing room if this is true it seals it for me

If that’s the case why don’t the club just say that then the fans would understand. Or say for ‘personal reasons’ if Saiz wants to keep the details private. I don’t then understand the leaking of negative stories about body fat making him look like the bad boy we need to get shot of.

leaking ?? don't understand that comment.Bielsa as is his way was actually making a good observation on him and what he needs to do to improve. basically Saiz comes across as a lazy fat guy who can't be arsed improving himself.so if things don't go his way he wants out.

I don't agree with you WJ.

Whilst mental health issues are horrible, I'm sure taking home £70,000 a month helps!

It doesn't. Ask Gary Speed or Clarke Carlisle.
Obviously there are different degrees of mental health.

He is going for a medical with a La Liga outfit, and will probably start against Barcelona next week.

If he was that bad, he wouldn't be able to play football.

Infact, he wouldn't be able to get up in the mornings, let alone train.

Izzy Brown posted this on the 22nd November:-

“Technically he’s unbelievable. Some days in training you can’t tackle him,” Brown said of Saiz. “They play football how football should be played: high intensity and winning the ball back in the opposing half. It’s a treat for an attacking player to play in a team like this.”

Ell, stop digging yourself in deeper. You know fcuk all about mental health.

Btw, Speed & Carlisle didn't do too badly when it came to playing football. And many others you don't know about. Sometimes their only outlet is what they're good at. Until even that isn't enough to resist the suicide urge.

I'm no expert, but I was a Listener for the Samaritans for a number of years. You would be surprised by what I dealt with. And who.
