You might be Welsh but you're no Dylan Thomas,

and that may well be true, but unless he has said he refuses to play for us anymore and is happy to sit out his 2 1/2 years of his contract, then there is no need to rush and allow him to go to Getafe, if he just wants to leave then we can put him on the transfer list, and await the offers to come in, and that is why I keep saying that there is more to this than just football, else I'd be agreeing with virtually every single post on this thread :)

if we put him on the list and sit back then the club have done nothing except lose a player and lots of wages.but loan him out and lest someone else take care of his wages .then it frees up some money to get someone in who can help our team grow.

Kevin Nicholls what a twat he was. Signed from Luton, had the honour of being made captain of Leeds United. He was only here 5 minutes but I saw him getting sent off at Ipswich and letting the team down badly. Next minute he basically can't hack it at a big club and demands to be sent back to Luton, never to be heard of again

That's on the presumption that no one wants to buy him, if he can't handle playing for Leeds is the only reason for the transfer then we can sell him to any of the western European leagues, I'm sure someone out there would be happy to buy him. Maybe that has been explored and the loan offer from Getafe is still the best that we can get, although I would have thought unlikely, but I can accept that its possible.

Most of my posts on this thread have been justifying your very argument, if for a somewhat different reason, I just think the rumours , and snippets of media stories would take a different tone if that was the case of him sticking two fingers up at us, as opposed to my interpretation of the small amount of information that we know/suspect.

Only comment I would now make, if the above is true there are more important things in life than football and the guy is doing the right thing.

Nothing dirty about it - in fact, the practice has been quite inspirational to our Welsh entrepreneurs.

Do you realise the the multi-use wellie and horizintal bungee were developed to minimise effort?
