So, thought someone better knock something together....

A good old fashioned 3pm
kick-off and our second shortest away day trip this season.

Weather forecast predicts snow - so wrap up warmly (or drink appropriately) - your choice <laugh>

Teams

NUFC

Fabian Schar available after suspension but Yedlin starts his suspension
Fernandez and Shelvey doubtful but Paul Dummett should return.

HTFC:
Tommy Smith is out as is Aaron Mooy.
They also have doubts over the fitness of Terence Kongolo and Jonathan Hogg.

The Terriers have lost each of their last three PL games and won just once on home territory so far this season. Their home goal tally of three is the lowest in the PL this season so far.

Think we will win this as well. More confident now when we play away.

Huddersfield will be ****ing freezing if its snowing.

Wish people would put some real effort in when preparing M D threads. Why couldn't the OP model his on the extensive, informative and at times cheeky effort that Old Jim did?

:(

Match threads are like buses - you wait days and then 3 come along at once.

Seems a pity to merge them after all the effort you have put in.

And I dont know how to do that anyway.

Psh what kind of match day thread is this?

Times, places, team news even a ****ing weather report...

E- for effort - tried to hard.

2-1 win to the Toon Ayo and Ritchie to score.

Be interesting to see who's set to start this week with a few changes necessary and as we are away from home, needing points against a relegation rival. Does Rafa got for it and go back to 4-4-1-1 or stick with the 3-4-3 approach that has served us well in the last month or so?

Personally for me we should stick to the three at the back:

Dubruvka
Schar-Lacselles-Clark
Manquillo-Diame-Ki-Dummett
Ritchie-Rondon-Kenedy
subs: Woodman, Lejuene, Hayden, Longstaff, Murphy, Atsu, Perez

Schar in as back from suspension, Manquillo in as he hasn't done much wrong in his last few appearances and Yedlin is suspended, Dummett hopefully back after a lay off - maybe Murphy to start if Dummy isn't fit for 90 and push Kenedy/Ritchie back to LWB.

I'd drop Ayo for this one, thought he did well last week bar for the last goal off the back of the abuse he's been getting, going to be a real battle across the park with both teams needing the points so likely to be a very physical game, also think he would offer 100% more than Joselu off the bench but think Hayden/Longstaff will be dropped from the bench to accommodate the Spanish Pele

Might be time for my light rain jacket
It better not be cancelled. Just signed up to a deal whereby I can stream all the PL games to my phone, ipad or laptop for 3.50 a month from my cable TV provider. Looking forward to this.
