Not sure it’s fair to knock the EU they have delivered with dignity imo

The 17m can rebuild now which is fair enough
The 16m can now look at the new plan for the future. Open mind on that and good luck

As long as we can move the other way then it’s tip top

No, not overnight. Massively worse since 2010, though.

    1/ It’s not a visa.
2/ It’s the same travel document needed by the select 61 nations whose people’s travel to the EU and just allows them Shengen rights (google the 61).
3/ It will cost 7euros, about £6-80 and will last for 3 years.
4/ it will also be reciprocal as EU citizens will have to pay same to visit here.
And last but not least it’s not clever timing it’s been in the pipeline for at least 12 months to help the EU control people’s movements regarding terrorism and people smuggling, it is being based on America’s ESTA and will be known as ETIAS (European travel information and authorisation scheme).
I think you need to do more research before spouting off on things regarding the EU because it appears you actually know nothing.

Interesting on Sky that a European journalist being interviewed says that EU view of a No Deal is that it is workable, and that the reaction of the British media has been hysterical

If they charge me £6 for a visa I will drop a few nights at the local Bar/restaurant.
Unlike the French I don’t buy 1 drink and nurse it all night. The local bar loves it when I am over as the English like me keep him going.
My holiday to France last year cost £4K.
Next year I will be supporting our country and going to Cornwall.
If the French want to act like 2222’s it will only be to their detriment.

More people are talking about a free trade deal today. Which is the way to go. Only reason Ireland and some of the others don't like it is because they will lose our money. And of course they all know we will do well after a bumpy start.

Far from walking away in high dudgeon, the EU seem to be keen on the idea of No Deal, so agreements to mitigate can be reached, and apparently, tariffs don't need to change for 10 years if a Free Trade Agreement is being negotiated. There will need to be bilateral agreements put in place before March on stuff like aviation, rights of EU citizens but that's perfectly doable and sensible. A huge amount of work has been done (including by business) already on both sides of the Channel.

    A joke, Goldie.

A joke is a display of humour in which words are used within a specific and well-defined narrative structure to make people laugh and is not meant to be taken seriously.

The Tories have found plenty of money to help out their mates with tax cuts and a billion for the DUP to keep themselves in jobs. Just that billion could have given each homeless person £40k (if I've got my noughts right).

EU just negating the threat of a no deal by the UK

Remember it’s inside the UK’s Brexiteers heads that they need us ... they don’t as from day one they have respected the vote.

This is going to blown out a few Brexiteer’s minds and the moaning and hatred with increase with these people ... I am right

You will naturally see a lot more anti Europe statements on here by the usual suspects I am certain

Moan away in isolation I say it’s your responsibility to rebuild now

Yes it will hurt the EU but they will rebuild and adjust

The challenge and the real focus should be rebuilding the UK by Brexiteers not worrying about the EU ... You took us out now get working

Of just my opinion but it looks bleak and of course I have very little faith that a isolated UK will grow at all ... political process non existent and any business of worth with any sense will relocate to better European bases ... watch and learn

It will take 15 years or more to even get stable inside the UK

Pre registered for ETIAS first thing ... big traffic on that site today! 16 million today won’t care too much what deal Brexit means from now on

    You have maths bang on
The Blue Sheep won’t look after their own
Best they will do is bleat imo

Loads of money will need to be found ASAP to prop up the mess and guess what it will be found
That after The Austerity Measures that we’re conveniently announced are now over

I can guarantee you that in London at least the homeless is solvable but there is a uncontrollable tide of people coming to London just to become homeless from all over the UK ... our own UK refugees. Remember that because again I am 100% correct

15 years we are a country riddled in debt ... households everywhere maxed out on credit
That is a force impression about our economy
By 2030 after Brexit imo we will be outside the top ten for sure not that matters anyway

There was a lot of truth in the joke, Strolls.

I agree with you that all homeless people should have the offer of a roof over their head, particularly at this time of year. As I say, £39bn would go a long way.

I genuinely think that if the EU and UK work towards a no deal together, it can take the heat out of it for both. It would solve the current impasse - presumably the Irish border issue would then be for the EU to decide upon, since the UK won't be putting up a border but will use technology to deal with smuggling issues

    A Joke!
When you've been bleating on about:
I am saddened that you find it funny Stroller? I found the note disgusting and irresponsible. Labour wasted money after money and then left a note as a Joke?
Maybe you should tell the homeless it was a joke.
As I said it’s not a new issue.

Who gives a **** that the UK will do well financially it still won’t look after it’s people
You will be fed some crap statistic and then crow about it. The facts are that you will be left behind in a sad and sorry state and the worse thing thing is the inability to admit it was your fault

    Ireland will prosper imo
    Europe will prosper why?

They have always held the cards
As a consumer addicted shop it won’t be long until European imports rise ... natural opportunity and the Raceriteers have it all away just so they say we British again

I will tell the homeless it was a joke no problem with that if you understood homelessness then I would agree but you are cherry picking yet again on a topic you clearly know nothing about !

Your Conservative ****ing toss pot mates don’t give a flying **** about the issues
You tell them that you spunked up £4k on a booze cruise this summer ...

We have donated a house to help the cause in London when we could of collected a massive rent
Even this is pointless if you understood the demand and mess this stupid ****ing country in really in
