You're correct, that's possible theoretically.
It was Ferdinand and Ramsey who wanted him out of the club as he was a bad professional who couldn't be arsed to even turn up for training. Both of these men are still in prominent roles at QPR and I can't see them wanting Taarabt back and risk upsetting the team spirit Ranger's are building.
