Bring it on. Eze needs competition. And, more importantly, I would love it.

Don't really know what I feel about this if true. What has he done in the last 4-5 years? Would he disrupt the dressing room? Is he under 100kg

Championship transfer interest for Taarabt, still has market despite QPR and Benfica dramas
    By Lucas Sposito -

Former Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt could be soon returning to the Championship, according to claims from Portugal.
Portuguese newspaper Record reports that some clubs from England’s second tier are interested in the 29-year-old, who has a contract with Benfica until 2020.
Taarabt doesn’t have one single appearance this season, not even for the reserve squad, where he’s been moved after not impressing for the Lisbon side.
That’s why Benfica plan to offload him in the January market. A loan is always an option, although the preference would be to get a permanent deal.

Taarabt moved from QPR to Benfica on a free transfer in 2015, but hasn’t made a single appearance for the Portuguese giants since then.
He had a loan spell at Genoa for the second part of last season, but despite his 29 appearances, he had a couple of injuries and couldn’t convince the Italian side to make a permanent move for him.
Now which are Championship sides interested in him? That’s something we expect Record to reveal soon.
Given his problems at both QPR and Benfica, it’s a wonder Taarabt still has a market. But he’s a very talented footballer and there’s always that temptation of taking a gamble that he might get back to his best.

ADEL TAARABT could make a shock return to the second tier of English football in the New Year.
The Moroccan midfielder has struggled to make his mark with Benfica which has led to the Portuguese side offering him a way out in January.

Getty – Contributor3 Taarabt has not featured at all for Benfica this season and has now been offered a way out
Taarabt, 29, is contracted with Benfica until 2020 but they are prepared to let him go as soon as January on loan, although both parties would prefer a permanent move.
According to the Portuguese paper Record, the former Tottenham midfielder is desperate to leave having not appeared once for Benfica this season.
Taarabt has fallen so far down the pecking order that he hasn't even featured for their reserve team.
The Moroccan player has had a tumultuous time with the Portuguese club since arriving in 2015.

AP:Associated Press3 Taarabt had an impressive spell at Genoa before suffering with an injury- they decided against signing him
He has struggled for game time and angered chiefs in 2016 when he returned to pre-season training overweight and made it common knowledge that he wanted to leave the club.
Taarabt is known to be an outspoken player and has been openly critical of several managers in the past.
He will surely be hoping that it isn't held against him as he attempts to return to English football.
The midfielder tried to salvage his career last season when he spent part of it on loan with Genoa.

Action Images – Reuters3 Taarabt spent several loan spells with West London side QPR, before joining them permanently. They could be one of the Championship sides to make a move for the midfielder
But his 29 appearances didn't convince the Italian club to make the move permanent.
Queens Park Rangers may be one Championship side who decide to make a move for their former midfielder.

Unless we sell someone and he comes in on a free and on lower wages rather than a loan? Or have I misunderstood the rules, which is highly likely.

Not going to happen of course, but cheered me up just to imagine it.
