He was discussed on the latest Podcast, where the panel said how he should have gone to Arsenal rather than Man U, and how much he would have thrived there. I remember a lot of us on here said the same thing at the time. Arsenal had been without a decent DM for so long it’s ridiculous they have only now found Torrera who is doing so well for them.

Totally agree Morgan’s career nosedived when he went to Utd.....should have been Arsenal.

Schneiderlin's not going anywhere, he's still got 2.5 years at £120k/week left up there.

Post update
Only Burnley (9) have conceded more Premier League goals in the 90th minute or later since the start of 2017-18 than Watford (8 - level with Southampton and West Ham).

That one single fact is why we need to grind out a few results.
Every team knows that they still have a chance of grabbing an equaliser or winner, irrespective of the time.
Stop the late goals (yeah and the early ones obviously) and the intensity of teams might not be so high, at the death, especially should we have a two goal lead in the late stages. [HASHTAG]#pipedream[/HASHTAG]

Disgusting.....no place for that....hope Chelsea ID them and they receive the appropriate punishment .....****ers

Which they did! What is surprising are the alleged offenders, who should know better. It is very sad that rascist elements still exist at any club, let alone a club of Chelsea´s standing and location set in the midst of one of the most ethnically diverse cities on the planet.

Having said that, you get the sense that Sterling is the scapegoat for quite a number of fans, from those that alledgely follow Chelsea, to Stoke and other places in between. I would rather football fans gang up on politicians like the vile Rees-Mogg,and shout all sorts of abuse about him in a match which would be quite funny.

I thought you hated Chelsea fabs Ides <confused>

I am indifferent to them. No point in hating them as it is a wasted emotion and means I have a problem. It is funny that this was reported at a Chelsea match. Does Sterling not get similar abuse at other PL grounds? But, because it is Chelsea, whose fans have a history of this behaviour, the press are very quick to jump on this. Let us hope this kind of behaviour towards Sterling is eradicated, principally through education. It is good that Chelsea the club have identified the alleged offenders, who I hope have thought how silly they have been, and will consider their future conduct.

It was highlighted as it happened right in the corner and was extremely obvious on tv.

I think it would have been the same at any ground - although Chelsea are probably the worst offenders for racism in the premier league. They seem to have a real problem with it.

One of the culprits that was charged, claims that he wasnt being racist, just abusive, so that's all right then... EDIT:-

Colin Wing, 60, has said he is one of the fans who has been suspended but told the Daily Mail that, although he swore, he used the word 'Manc' rather than 'black'.

"I'm deeply ashamed by my own behaviour," he said. "I want to apologise unreservedly to Raheem and hope he can be a better man than I am by accepting it.

"Even if it wasn't racist, it's not right what I said. Even the swearing is bad - but I got carried away. I was completely out of order."

Another fan, who gave his name as 'Dean', called Talksport on Monday to apologise. He added: "I didn't say anything racist, but I do admit swearing at him and calling him an embarrassment to England. I don't defend it."

Well it is if he's being accused of a crime is it not?

How has beeen charged if he’s only be accused? Have they got lip readers watching the cctv I’ve not really followed the story. Unless he’s admitted racist abuse or the cps , police etc have video evidence to prove otherwise he has no case to answer to.

I've not been following it mate just pointing out him saying that is a perfectly acceptable defence.

Lip readers, witnesses, could be all sorts.
