The problem was having to move Grosicki as he wasn't trusted to help Fleming. It meant the twin threat of Grosicki and Bowen out wide was blunted, and Irvine was less effective as a result too. I'd have preferred a back three from the off.

Precisely why it is a good point, when playing the bottom teams/teams around us, City are usually the gift that keeps on giving, so yes a good point for me, particularly when squad wise we were on the bones of our arse, relying on U23s, and we were under the cosh. A good point for us, they'll probably think 2 points dropped. Well done the travelling support, safe journey back.
