I have recently won some MOD work at Faslane which I have had to fill out the usual disclosure stuff, like do you have any Irish relatives, are you a commy etc.
A puzzling question then appeared, "Are you planning on visiting the USA?"... As it so happens, Julie and I are going next week so I answered Yes.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT WILL SHOCK SOME BUT WILL COME AS NO SURPRISE TO OTHERS...
A few days later I received a call from the US consulate in Tweedtown asking me to go in for a pre-visa questionnaire... once I arrived, I was taken down to the basement where I was TOLD that I am to play a crisis actor at at terrorist staging in Times Square on the 14th December....

PS I really enjoy Vodafone calling me up to upgrade my phone. They can't understand why I don't want a better phone.
