recipe or it never happened?
Stick of Celery and one onion finely chopped. Soften in frying pan with olive oil.

Stick in big bowl and let it cool.

Chop a bramley Apple (no skin)
80-85 grams of fresh bread crumbs
2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage.
4 or 5 tablespoons of chopped parsley
2 packs of Cumberland sausages skinned.
2 or three packs of rindless streaky bacon.
Large egg.

Buck everything in the now cooled bowl except the bacon... mush and mix.

Get a loaf tin or something similar. Line with bacon. Stuff mixture in to half way to 3/4 way up... tuck in the bacon ends and add some more bacon to top to seal it.

Bake in oven for 40 mins at 180.

Now..... either take out, tip on to baking tray and put in oven at 200 for 15/20 more minutes ...

Or you could let cool and stick in fridge after cook 1 and then put in oven next day .. I'd assume at 180 for half an hour and then bring up temperature for another 20.

Then slice that bad boy.

Just a note. I made a batch mistakenly without breadcrumbs... it was basically a super tasty giant sausage roll only instead of pastry you have bacon.... <cheers>

Then slice ....

It's great cold too.

He 's not talking about Birkenhead.

Not swimming but I've been a treadmill for that long. Feel fine whilst running but when you get off yuppie legs take revenge. And I used to do a couple of minutes walking at the end at that too!!!
