Brexit secretary, Dominic Raab: “I hadn’t quite understood the full extent of this, but if you look at the UK and look at how we trade in goods, we are particularly reliant on the Dover-Calais crossing.”

****

Sake

They're all ****ing clueless, every single one of them. This is what happens when you leave the inbred sons and daughters of rich ****s to run the country.

PS: Pud you voted for these ****s <ok>

Brexiters need their ability to vote rescinded. It's like watching a country commit suicide. Then there's the DUP slack jawed in wonderment. No foresight, no brains.

These ******s have given Republicans something decades of mayhem couldn't.

I honestly think there should be a basic aptitude test before being allowed to vote, you need one to drive a car so why not have one before you can vote?

Some of the Brexit-voting mouth-breathers you see interviewed should never be ****ing allowed anywhere near a polling booth. At least the ****s were lucky enough to only have to draw an X...

If the political classes hadn't abandoned the working class Brexit probably wouldn't have happened. Middle-class intellectuals telling people how wonderful life is as part of the EU seems somewhat disingenuous when you look around large parts of post-industrial Britain and see high unemployment, lack of housing, high crime rates and little hope for the future.

Sure, an EU funded grant to convert an old, abandoned mill into a museum might create a few jobs but it's hardly going to solve the problem of a lack of full time and well paid employment that blights many parts of post-industrial Britain.

Of course, Brexit will likely do a lot of damage to Britain, particularly in the short term, but when your life is ****e already then what difference does it really make?

Because their lives could still be much worse?

The rest of it is nothing to do with the EU, and the museum comment just shows you know very little about what the EU do for deprived parts of the country and the rest of the EU.

Surely you should be happy about Brexit, you can finally get your Jock independence <ok>

How?

It was always going to end up in the ****ter when they let **** hole countries like Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria & Hungary join.
Only a matter of time before we got fed up of their tamps raping our women and stealing our big issue sellers jobs.

The £ will tank whatever the outcome of the negotiations, that's was Rees-Mogg and co are waiting for so they can make a ****load of cash.

With this ****ty deal it'll just mean food prices/fuel prices/electronics/cars/etc... will increase in price.

With no deal we'll have food shortages and prices will increase too.

Then the Tories will get to work raping all workers rights, environmental rights, privatising the NHS, cutting benefits, etc...

So yes, things will get a ****load worse.

We've already seen evidence of wages rising as fewer EU migrants arrive in the country:

I voted remain and would probably do so again if there was another referendum but having campaigned during the 2014 Indy referendum I take the end-of-the-world predictions with a pinch of salt. Ironically, one of the things we were threatened with if we voted Yes was that we'd get kicked out of the EU. Well, that worked out well, didn't it?

I suspect it will be bad for a few years, but not as bad as the usual shrieking Guardian columnists say it will, and then things will settle and then start to improve.
