Agree with this, but it's the two Silva's that are the difference. We set up most times with 3 work horses in midfield, city set up with fernadino to break up play then both Silva's who can join the attack and control midfield.

We look much better with shaqiri playing in the midfield, maybe keita can become that missing player, but klopp then has to trust that those two plus whoever plays DM is good enough to keep the 4 3 3 rather than switching it round.

yes. bernardo Silva has made de bruyne loss seem.no loss at all.

we don't seem to be trying 433 with shaqiri at no 8. we are going to have to see what klopp does with Keita in a 2 or 3.

Think that’s the reason we got Fabinho. He’s obviously going to need a season to settle, but he’s shown glimpses (apart from not being able to run) of that player we need. Someone who I’d going to break up play and keep things simple. Win the ball abs give it to others in midfield who can unlock the defences.

If we play with a two, I don't really see a role for keita, and it doesn't suit the front 3.

But klopp doesn't fancy Shaq in a 3 so I'm not altogether to sure how it's all going to fit together.

For the majority of our games one solid DM will be enough with two creative, ball playing midfielder s alongside.

Not sure klopp sees it this way, but chopping and changing formation and personnel isn't doing us any favours

which is fine v the non top 6 teams but against properly good teams im not sure how we are going to use him.

that arsenal game was a **** show. next big game agaisnt a technical side lets see.

I am not looking forward, he's not exactly pacy, so his reading of the game needs to be top notch, unfortunately it seems that it is not. I can see why Monaco played him at rightback

have to give him a chance. even if everyone wants me to be wrong about his legs.

for me he's the type that a Watford game will suit. he can mix it no question

I'm happy to give him time, the difference in pace must take some getting used to.

It's not like he can sprint around the field looking dynamic.

he won't be able to. ever.. there's adapting to the game and physically not being capable.

I noted this in pre-season and it's not changed.

klopp recognised he can't be left as sole cm back as he's not mobile enough. he is trying to play 2 back but that means any sort.of high press is put the window.

1-0 is where we are at. we can't press without mobility.

I am hoping he plays against united as that might give us an idea of what he is about.
He might stand up to Fellaini

If his reading of the game gets better, he doesn't have to tear arse round the pitch. Against arsenal you could see he didn't have a clue who to mark or where to stand, the game passed him by.

Now windy can't read the game either, but he has the ability to chase like a terrier so it covers that part of his game.

Against the weaker teams, he needs to be able to see where the break is and snuff it out before it happens, if he can't do that and we continue having to play someone next to him to cover the space he's just taking up a squad number for no reason.

true but if two cms go with the front 3 in a high press you have to cover a huge.amount of ground. klopp has alluded to this in the.comments about only pressing in right area.

we.are now not hassling cms in the middle too much or even cbs. we are trying to go hard at wide areas and look for turn overs there

I just don't think we are going to see 2.no 8s (kieta.and ox for example) and fabinho

yeah I think that would be playing utd on their level. but that's where we are at.
I think against jose you sort of need to do that.
We have tried to beat him playing football but unfortunately he always seems to have our no.
That said when we have been in form and met them it usually comes early after int. break.
I feel we always just get bullied out against his sides
So someone to break it up might just work

The problem I see is not the two no8s but that fabinho is maybe not the player we thought he would be.

when you.compare him.to two players bought this summer.

well the phrase klopp used to describe mkhitaryan at Dortmund comes to mind....

torreira and jorginho would have suited us like the arse on a bucket. Both settled instantly as they cover the griund and have the skills.

It's against how I like the game to be played, but I know what your saying. It would be good to have someone on the pitch who won't be bullied, happy to put their foot in

I'm not quite sold on jorginho, but I would have loved torreira, he look top quality. To be fair, it looks like we had a few choices and chose wrong. It had to happen at some point

jorginho suits sarri. I think he'd suit us hugely.

torrera is another Kante. absolute steal by arsenal.

for.me fabinho is an option. if it's a battle type game away from home hes a great sub or option to start.

I'd rather put fabinho on than Matip put it that way.

Matip fooled alot of people by standing next to lovren and not doing alot.
