Fair enough. As I said, it was a very boring game and wells was left a tad isolated aswell as being not as sharp as usual.

At times imo we were completely outplayed
But the skill of playing without the football at QPR has definitely improved

How Oxbow gets us to dominate games with the ball comes in part two ?
I don’t honestly recall many clear chances for the opposition in either game. Lots of play in the middle third. Bannan had the ball three times more than any other player but had half the impact of Freeman. Grealish similar albeit better.
I believe that the current drill of being harder to beat will always make our team toothless as an attacking force Hair Island has had a serious shift in tactics as the start of the season was the worst I have seen at QPR
Credit where’s it’s due I fully expect him to continue with low possession stats
Hoping we will see more freedom and flowing football at LR
Wasn’t being hard to beat JFH’s plan? As long as it is a platform to build on rather than the be all and end all, fine.

For the third time in as many visits to Ewood Park, QPR conceded in the last five minutes of a game to rob themselves of a hard earned result against Blackburn Rovers at the weekend. Lee McAlpine was there for LFW.
"Blackburn's all yours." This a very short and precise message from Clive, to me a couple of weeks ago. No pressure, another away game match report from another ground where QPR have failed miserably in recent years. No pressure, it's just Ewood Park where Craig Bellamy has given us footballing lessons, where Mackie broke his leg and far worse, where Will Keane (thanks Rednapp) led the front line for us. This undoubtedly is an absolute bogey ground for us, far up north where it's always freezing and nothing has gone well. Against a newly promoted side, who as so often happens in this crazy league, have done much better than expected and look well set for a solid season.

Similar comments to this have already been said, I'm sure, but feel I must add my two-bits worth, which is, "What the current Director of Football, Les Ferdinand, and Manager, Steve McClaren, have achieved so far this season with virtually no funds available, is truly amazing. They both deserve to succeed in their endeavours for the club."
Definitely it was his main and only plan. At Burton he won so many matches 1-0.
We we tried it we were so bad at the back, we barely able to do it...and when we went a goal down, our team, the opposition team and all our fans all knew it was impossible to score one goal let alone two (we had Conor, El Kheayti and Chery at the time remember)
